WINE GROWER NOTES
The 2016 Preciado incorporates exceptional, hand harvested fruit from our small partner growers in Eastern Yountville and Coombsville. Within each site we conduct meticulous blending trials to understand the vineyard’s contributions to the overall flavor and texture of the finished wine. By carefully integrating these individual lots, we create a rich spectrum on the palate and cohesive expression of Napa Valley.
Tasting Notes
The 2016 vintage Preciado offers an inviting inky color, deep blue and black fruit aromas with hints of dark plum and cocoa. A lush palate of textured tannins leads the way with flavors of decadent dark fruit, black cherry, anise and cedar with a well structured, earthy finish.
