The 2017 Rapport incorporates exceptional, hand harvested fruit from our small partner growers in Western Yountville and Diamond Mountain. Within each site we conduct meticulous blending trials to understand the vineyard’s contributions to the overall flavor and texture of the finished wine. By carefully integrating these individual lots, we create a rich spectrum on the palate and cohesive expression of Napa Valley.
Tasting Notes
Our Rapport 2017 vintage Cabernet Sauvignon opens with opulent, rich color and effusive aromas of cassis, blackberry and mocha. The palate offers a great expression of power and elegance showcasing rich tannins, dark fruit flavors of blackberry preserve, plum and cocoa along with a very long, spice-driven finish.
