The 2018 Rapport Grenache comes from a single vineyard within the Rutherford sub-appellation of Napa Valley. The site’s varying exposure contributes to unique flavor development and ripening within each of the micro blocks. 2018’s relatively mild summer, followed by extended fall sunshine and moderate heat, created near-ideal conditions for our Grenache.
Tasting Notes
Our Rapport 2018 Grenache opens with soaring aromatics of kirsch liqueur, black cherries, and strawberry jam. It is lush, medium-bodied and unfiltered while offering complex flavors of red fruit savoriness which should be consumed in its first decade of life.
